Delete your account
You can delete your Dealyly account at any time, from the app or from the website, along with what is attached to it: profile, listings, photos, messages, favourites and saved searches. Here is how to do it and what happens to your data.
How to delete your account
- Open the Dealyly app.
- Go to Account → Security → Delete my account.
- Choose: 30 days to change your mind, or deletion right away with no restore.
- Confirm: with your password or, if you sign in with Apple or Google, with that same sign-in. If two-factor authentication is on, also enter your 6-digit code.
On the website: My account → Settings → Delete my account, with the same choices and the same confirmation.
No password is needed if you created your account with Apple or Google: you confirm with Apple or Google.
Alternatively, you can email a deletion request from your account's registered email address to: support@dealyly.com
Two ways to delete
With a delay (recommended): your account is deactivated right away and erased after 30 days; you can change your mind in between. Immediate: your account is erased on the spot and there is nothing to restore.
What is deleted
Right away: you are signed out of all your devices, your listings are hidden and notifications stop. After 30 days (or immediately if you chose that): your profile, listings, photos, messages, favourites and saved searches are permanently deleted.
What is retained
Invoices and payment records, if you have any, are kept for 5 years, as the law requires. Your profile is erased: only these accounting documents remain, without your profile data.
Apple or Google sign-in
The link between your Dealyly account and your Apple or Google sign-in is removed. From the iPhone app we also ask Apple to remove Dealyly's access where we can; if that is not possible, the app tells you how to do it. You can check or remove it yourself in Settings > Apple Account > Sign in with Apple, or in your Google Account settings.
Restoring your account
For 30 days, the link in the confirmation e-mail restores your account and listings. After that, or after an immediate deletion, there is nothing left to restore.
