At Dealyly, protecting your personal data is a priority. This Policy describes the data we collect, the purposes, the retention period, and the rights available to you. It complies with Algerian law 18-07 of June 10, 2018 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data.

1. Data controller

2. Data collected

We collect the following data:

  • Registration data: name, email address, phone number, wilaya, password (encrypted).
  • Listing data: title, description, photos, price, location you publish.
  • Communication data: messages exchanged via the integrated messaging.
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, browser version, session identifiers.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, searches performed, favorite listings.

3. Purposes

Your data is used to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Allow listing publication and consultation
  • Facilitate communication between buyers and sellers
  • Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
  • Improve relevance of results and recommendations
  • Send you notifications related to your listings
  • Respond to your support requests

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on:

  • Performance of the contract you entered into by accepting the Terms
  • Your consent for marketing communications (revocable at any time)
  • Our legitimate interest in protecting the Platform from fraud
  • Compliance with legal obligations in force in Algeria

5. Data sharing

Your data is never sold to third parties. It may be shared with:

  • Other users (only the information you knowingly publish)
  • Our technical service providers (hosting, payment, messaging) bound by confidentiality contracts
  • Competent authorities upon duly formulated legal request

6. Cookies and trackers

Dealyly uses cookies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and measure audience in aggregate. Essential cookies do not require your consent. Analytics cookies are activated with your agreement and can be disabled from your profile.

7. Data security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed (argon2 algorithm), communications protected by HTTPS/TLS encryption, and data access restricted to authorized personnel. We regularly conduct security audits.

8. Retention period

  • Active account: as long as you use the service
  • Deleted account: 30 days for restoration possibility, then permanent deletion
  • Expired listings: 90 days after expiration
  • Messages: 12 months after last exchange
  • Transaction data: 5 years for tax compliance

9. Your rights

Pursuant to law 18-07, you have the following rights:

  • Access: consult the data concerning you
  • Rectification: correct any inaccurate data
  • Deletion: request the erasure of your account
  • Objection: refuse certain processing (notably marketing)
  • Portability: retrieve your data in a reusable format

10. International transfer

Your data is primarily hosted in Algeria or the European Union, on servers respecting international security standards. Any transfer outside these zones is governed by standard contractual clauses guaranteeing an equivalent level of protection.

11. Changes

This Policy may be updated to reflect legal or functional changes. You will be informed of substantial changes by email or via a notification on the Platform.
